Privacy Policy

Reply Coach ("we", "the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps users generate AI-powered reply suggestions for LinkedIn DMs. This policy explains what data we handle.

1. Data stored locally only

• Your voice profile (sample messages you paste during onboarding)
• Your settings (default goal, tone preferences, language)
• Your Reply Coach license key
• Your daily generation count

These live in chrome.storage.local and never leave your device.

2. Data sent to AI provider

When you click "Generate", we send the following to Anthropic's Claude API:

• The current LinkedIn DM thread (last ~10 messages visible)
• The recipient's public LinkedIn headline
• Your selected goal and optional notes
• A subset of your voice samples (used as style reference only)

Per Anthropic's commercial terms, content submitted via API is not used to train their models and is retained only briefly for abuse monitoring. We never log or store message content on our servers.

3. Anonymous analytics

We collect generation counts and feature-click events. No message content, no identity, no IP retention. Opt out in settings.

4. What we don't do

• Read your LinkedIn inbox beyond the DM you're actively replying to
• Read contacts, connections, or browsing history
• Access other browser tabs
• Sell or share data with third parties (besides the AI provider)

5. Payment

Gumroad processes payments. We receive only your license key + purchase email.

6. Your rights

Uninstall erases all local data. Email support@replycoach.coach to request deletion of license records. GDPR rights respected.

7. Children

Not intended for users under 16.
